Chapter 37 - Truth unveiled
Bartholomew's pov:
So my little daughter is collaborating with the enemy. What did she think? That I wouldn't be aware of her activities? I trusted her by giving everything to her and she betrayed me. Jordan was right. Elektra was the spitting image of her mother in every aspect. She is a traitor like her.
I was watching the pack house all night when I saw Alexander accompanied by two guards heading to my office. I expected Elektra to imprison him or cast him away from the pack but she did neither.

Bartholomew's pov: I got home around noon when I saw tracks on the trail. Alexander wasted no time and sent a scout to look for me. I followed the tracks that led to my hut. Elektra's pov:I woke up hearing someone talking. Even though, I tried very hard to open my eyes, something prevented me to do so. Elektra's pov:Two days have passed in absolute boredom. My days were spent in the cabin and around it while my father was always out. Where he went all day and what he did during his absence I'll never know... We only met at lunch and dinner without mentioning anything. I started to feel very frustrated. I couldn't be locked anymore. I wanted to get back to my pack and take on my responsibilities. Alexander's pov:We searched for Roxanne to no avail. Where did she go? Although I searched the place where she stood for traces, it was not easy to identify them because due to the attack there were many footprints around the area. I had given her a cellphone that probably didn't work up here. Mind linking wasn't applicable as she belonged to another pack. So our methods of communication were greatly reduced.Our scouts informed me that they found some tracks on a small path near where Roxanne was waiting for us. We followed the path and found three different kinds of tracks. Our scouts informed me that one probably belonged to a male while the other two belonged to either females or teenager boys. The important thing was that they weren't far. We estimated that they were probably an hour afar.

Alexander's pov:Bartholomew although old, he proved to be a worthy opponent. He repelled many of my attacks and fought strongly. Besides us, many Silver Dawn worriers were fighting with me. Along with my warriors, Bartholomew's accomplices were not far from here, and when they realized that there was a battle, they came to help. The battle between mine and Bartholomew's warriors lasted until the early hours of the morning.Finally we managed to beat them. We had some losses, but Bartholomew's team had more. I managed to hurt Bartholomew and immobilize him. We gathered everyone in one spot and waited for the Council guards to come and take them away. They each faced serious charges and would likely spend the rest of their lives in prison.
