“It’s been one minute,” Irena announced coldly to Amy while holding the nose of her revolver to the back of Bryan’s head. Irena’s threatening gesture stunned Bryan. “I’m sorry, baby. But if your wife doesn’t comply, then I’ll have to shoot you in the head.” Irena leaned down and whispered in Bryan’s ear while keeping the nose of her pistol firmly pressed against the back of his neck.
“Please don’t hurt my daddy!” Omar shouted at Irena.
Amy took her lips away from her son’s forehead. She turned to see Irena giving her a psychotic smirk while holding her gun to the back of her husband’s head.
“It’s been one minute,” Irena repeated. She gestured with her eyes, telling Amy to hand her son back over to 2Pac or else. The crime lord made another threatening gesture by gliding in front of Amy’s husband and pointing her revolver down at his lips.
“What are you doing?” Amy asked, staring at Irena with distraught disbelief in her eyes.
Irena’s smirk vani
Agent Jane watched as Rashonda started rocking back and forth on the bed while caressing her son’s arm. The FBI agent came and sat beside Rashonda on the bed while smiling at three-year-old Jamal. Jamal studied the wrinkles on the face of this white woman sitting next to his mother. Rashonda kept her attention on her baby and she kissed Jamal’s fingers. The young mother felt the tension in her body dissolving a little. She watched as her son used his small fingers to draw across his mother’s shoulder. “I wanna kill that man for what he did to my baby,” Rashonda said softly to Agent Jane. She never looked at Agent Jane when she spoke to her. Agent Jane licked her lips. “I wanna kill him too,” she said, joining Rashonda in her anger. She reached over and touched Jamal’s hand, which was reaching out to her. “I have a son and he’s grown now. But I know that if somebody tried to harm him, I would move heaven and hell to bash their f*cking skull in.” Rashon
At first, the young FBI agent saw himself being strangled to death, but he became relieved when he felt The Gunman’s arm easing off of his throat and releasing the pressure. The tranquilizer drug was a fast-acting drug, but it didn’t move fast enough. Agent Martinez stepped in and she saved Agent Vernon from getting his throat crushed. The woman whacked the gunman across the back of his skull, using the handle of her gun. She had to swing her gun upward to knock the towering gunman out. Agent Vernon took a deep, much-needed breath while grabbing his throat and watching as the gunman slumped down to the floor. Agent Martinez slowly lowered her gun after watching the gunman drop to the floor. The woman looked up at Agent Vernon while giving the young man a look filled with motherly concern. Agent Vernon was looking back at Agent Martinez with a new appreciation of his life. “Are you okay, sweetie?” Agent Martinez caressed Agent Vernon’s shoulders. She watched a
The young man could see that his supervisor wanted to cry. “You know we can’t kill him. I wanted to kill him when he attacked me, but I knew I couldn’t.” Agent Vernon cut his eyes down at the gunman for a second. “He’s a crazy motherf*cker, I know that. When he attacked me, he kept whispering in my ear, telling me how he was gonna teach me how to tango and crazy sh*t like that.” Agent Jane shook her head while looking back up at Agent Vernon. “I just wished we could have stopped him before he put the bomb on that baby’s leg.” Agent Jane pointed down at the gunman. She put her hand up to her head, and she felt the slight essence of a migraine settling in. “You think Agent Cho is gonna be able to shut off the bomb?” Agent Vernon asked his question with doubts in his mind. “I know that Agent Cho will turn off that bomb.” Agent Jane felt hope come over her after she said that. “Even though she’s pregnant, and she’s putting her body under tr
Amy screamed at herself after fumbling and dropping the car keys near the brake pedal. She reached down between her legs, snatching up the car keys. This time, Amy kept a good grip on the keys, inserting them into the ignition and turning the switch. The Camaro’s engine roared. Amy fastened her seatbelt, and she told her husband to do the same. She shifted the muscle car into drive before punching her foot down on the accelerator. The Camaro ZL1’s engine let out a wrathful roar when it took off like a machine that the Devil possessed. When Amy brought her foot down on the accelerator, she could hear the Camaro’s back tires screaming and burning the pavement. A cloud of white smoke ascended from beneath the muscle car’s rear axles when it took off toward the factory’s exit. “Hold on!” Amy told her husband. She shifted the muscle car’s gears before gripping the steering wheel with both hands and swerving through an empty parking lot. The Camaro went airborne a
2Pac had his eyes locked on his side mirrors and he tried to shut down all of Amy’s attempts to pass his truck. Amy knew 2Pac would give her a hard time, and she prepared herself for it. She lost her focus on passing the truck when she heard a loud clamoring coming from the muscle car’s rear window. The heavy clamoring was the sound of bullets striking the Camaro’s rear window and trunk. The bad part was that Amy and her husband were getting struck by enemy fire, and the good part was that Amy’s 1969 Camaro ZL1 had bulletproof paneling and glass. Bryan ducked his head down at first, thinking the bullets were going to shatter the Camaro’s rear window. To his surprise, he could see the bullets deflecting off the rear window’s reinforced glass, not even leaving a nick. “I didn’t know she was bulletproof,” Bryan uttered in a state of disbelief, referring to the car. It impressed Bryan to see that no bullets were penetrating the Camaro’s windows and its titanium-silver paint fini
“Manual flight mode!” Amy shouted her order to Venus, giving the AI assistant her command. She looked around at her husband, who gave her a displeased stare, which she ignored. When Amy selected manual flight mode, the steering wheel emerged from the dashboard but it had the design of an aircraft’s control column which pilots called a Yoke. “Please use the manual flight controller to steer the vehicle. You can still use the acceleration pedal to propel the vehicle. To apply the vehicle’s braking system, squeeze the paddle shifters on each side of the steering column. If you would like to activate a feature, then just tell me, Venus, and I will assist you.” Venus announced her instructions with a friendly, bubbly tone in her digitized, human-like voice. Amy had to let go of her husband’s hand once again, placing her hands on the flight steering column. She pulled up on the steering column when she thought the Camaro’s undercarriage was about to scrape the roof of a tr
The gunman’s hands were shackled behind his back. He sat with his back arched in a hardwood chair. There were shackles on the gunman’s legs and he loved moving his feet around and rattling the leg shackles, which annoyed Agent James. “Hey knock it off, big guy! Be still!” Agent James scolded the gunman with a visceral disgust in his eyes. Agent James still had a throbbing in his head, and other parts of his body ached from the fight he had with the gunman. The veteran FBI agent had to hold an ice pack against his swollen cheek where the gunman punched him. Agent James also had a bandage over his nose, making it hard for him to breathe. Agent Martinez held her gun in her lap while sitting in a chair near the room’s door. The woman wished she were at home with her husband and her sons. She didn’t want to look at the gunman after what he did. Agent Martinez wanted to get as far away from the terrorist as possible. The hairs on her neck stiffened when she looked up to se
Amy brought her Camaro to a drive-by crawl in mid-air. She brought the muscle car’s thrusters closer to the highway to see if she could get near the armored truck’s rooftop. Amy’s next move was gutsy. “Okay Babe, here’s what I’m gonna do. I’m gonna jump on the roof of the truck, and I need you to keep the car steady for me. You think you can do that?” Amy asked her husband while unfastening her seatbelt. Bryan nodded with a question mark on his face. “You’re gonna jump down on the truck while it’s moving?” Bryan wanted to make sure he understood what his wife was intending to do. When the realization dawned on him, he almost objected to his wife jumping out of the car, but he gained control of his anxiety. Bryan watched as his wife brought the Camaro down close to the armored truck’s roof. “I know what I’m about to do is dangerous, but I have to do this. It’s the only way I can save our baby,” Amy told her husband while rubbing her sweaty palms across her lap
