I woke up to complete silence. I grab my phone, relief washing over me when I realize I won’t see those nasty texts again. 10:24 Holy shit I slept late. How is it still so silent? I slowly get up, wincing at my sore thighs. Going down the stairs is going to be some trouble. I’m halfway down the stairs when I hear Daniel. “Yeah man, she’s still sleeping. I’m worried about her” He says causing me to pause. “She’s strong Dan. She’ll push through” Brooks answers. I block out the rest of the private conversation, continuing my way down the stairs. ~Daniel’s P.O.V~ Samantha isn’t actually having a party. I just wanted to do something special for Kisses. I got Brooks and Kylie in on the idea and they helped me out with it. It worked perfectly. We are currently on our way to the jewelry store. I want to pick something out for Kisses. Something to remind her that I’m always here. The windows are down, California’s brisk, 4pm air flowing through the car. I lean my head back, hoping that Kisses isn’t in any pain. I wish I could take it from her. Skip a week~ It's my first day back at school. I'm really nervous, Christine told me that I'm the talk of the school. That's the last thing I want. I'm dressed in some maroon leggings and one of Daniels black hoodies. My boot on one leg and my Nike sneaker on the other. "You ready to go Kiss?" Daniel asks, causing me to nod, smiling. "Yeah, I think so" I grab my bag, placing it on my shoulder, careful not to touch my side. "Here, give me that" Daniel gently takes it off, slinging it over his other shoulder with ease. "I need your workout routine" I huff, slowly making my way downstairs. "Here Kisses, have a good day" Tara says, handing me some eggs and sausage on a plate. She kisses my cheek and Daniel and I head out to the car that Kylie is sitting in. "We need to pick Brooks up too. Kisses, sit up front" She smiles, causing me to nod. I sigh, turning to face Kurt. “What do you want Kurt?” I mumble, hugging my book to my chest. “What’s with all the rumors huh? Something to try and makeup for the fact that you are a sucky person with a terrible personality? That’s disgusting, really” He spits out. “I really don’t have time for this” I say, going to walk away from him. He reaches out, his hand pressing against my side. “You’re not going anywhere”. “Fuck” I curse at the sudden pain. “This isn’t funny and it most definitely doesn’t make you cool” I say, my hand on my side, trying to ease the pain. Its almost healed but that doesn’t mean it can’t still hurt. “Oh yeah? Well I find it really fucking funny” He says turning my head, roughly. “What happened there huh?” He looks at the fading bruise. The makeup must have rubbed off. I pull my arm out of his grip, dropping my book in attempt to get someone’s attention. “It’s non of your business” I say, venom lacing my voice. “No, tell me. “Kisses” Daniel wakes me up. I groan, opening my eyes to see his perfectly sculpted face. “What time is it?” I rub my eyes, searching through my suitcase. “6:40. I was going to let you sleep later but I figured you would have gotten mad because you wouldn’t have enough time” He laughs. “Well you thought right. Thank you” I smile, kissing him. I run into the bathroom with my clothes and quickly get ready, straightening my hair messily. 6:55 Crap, I still need to do some makeup. I can do it in the car if I need to. “Kiss, can I come in?” Daniel asks, knocking on the door. “Sure” I say applying some concealer, eyeliner, eyebrows and mascara. The absolute bare minimum. “Stop with all the makeup” He wines trying to take the mascara wand out of my hand. I swat his hand away, continuing with the process. “I mean it” He says trying to grab it, which causing me to pull it away. “Stop or you’re going to have mascara all over that flawless face of yours” I tease, finishing my mascara up.

I wake up with a sore neck and a small weight on my chest, Porsha. The unfamiliar surrounding confuses me at first, soon being replaced with realization. I check the time, 10:30. Not bad. I stroll into the kitchen, humming to a song. I wonder what time Daniel’s game is today. I turn my music on, careful that it isn’t too loud. ‘You say you can’t live without me So why aren’t you dead yet, Why you still breathing?’ Madison’s voice sings as my eggs cook. I swing my hips along to the beat, embracing the effect music has on me. “Are you trying to kill me?” Daniel’s raspy morning voice sounds behind me. I laugh, hugging him. “Good morning, how’s your sleep?” I place a quick kiss on his cheek, flipping the eggs. “I slept good. How did you sleep?” He smiles, leaning against the counter next to me. “It was okay. Luckily, we are in Express where they have leather jackets. “Go in the dressing room, I’ll come to you after” I smile, shooing him. I run to find Kylie, telling her my idea. “I absolutely love that. You go too Brooks” She says and we search for clothes. I grab a black leather jacket and some black ripped jeans. A white t-shirt even though he can wear the black one he has on already. I would love to see it with white too. Grabbing a belt off the rack, Kylie and I make our way into the dressing room to see Daniel and Brooks leaning against the wall, conversing. “Promise me you’ll have an open mind?” I hold my pinky out to him. “Fine” He smiles, interlocking our fingers. “Thank you” I kiss his cheek, handing him the clothes.
