“Kisses” Daniel’s voice wakes me up immediately. “Yeah?” I yawn, rubbing my eyes. “Are you okay?” He asks, throwing a t-shirt over his head. “Yeah, why wouldn’t I be?” mumble, ransacking my closet. “Last night. I wake up well rested. This might become a weekly thing. Daniel is still sleeping so I grab my bag and head into the bathroom. I change into the outfit Daniel picked out, a pink t-shirt that is tied and says ‘cute’, a pair of jean shorts and some Adidas sneakers. I pull my hair into a messy ponytail and curl it a little. My makeup is natural with a wing and some nude lipstick, like usual. When I’m done I make some coffee, bringing it up to Daniel. “Dan, hey. Wake up. ~Skip a month~ “Class of 2019, We made it. For 12 years we have been wandering the school halls with each other. At the time it crawled but standing here in front of you all, I can’t help but think it went so fast. In a couple years we are going to be wishing we could go back, even for a day. We are going to want to relive these moments. Its now time to move onto bigger and better things. As we say our goodbyes, we can’t ignore the fact the memories will forever be burned into our minds. ~Kisses P.O.V.~ Today we are going to the beach. I only have one bikini and it’s a little small on me. I got home late last night so I’m exhausted. I get my green bikini top on and throw the white bottoms with palm leaves on. I put a tank top and some shorts on and throw my flip flops on. I woke up early today and decided to go to the barn after leaving Daniel a note. It’s been a while since I rode so I’ll get on for a little. “Hey bud” I smile, petting JD. He nudges me with his nose, happy to see me. “Come on, lets go” I put the halter on him and bring him to the cross ties. I quickly brush him and tack him up, not wanting to be here forever. Almost as soon as I got home last night I fell asleep. This morning I woke up bright and early and decided to make myself a cup of coffee and sit on the back porch. Its summer and I haven’t felt this way during summer in a while. Usually, I would be at work or sitting in my room, scared of being assaulted. Not anymore. A huge smile makes its way on to my face as I breathe in the fresh air, realizing, I’m finally at peace. A couple hours pass and Daniel makes his way outside. “Hey beautiful. What are you doing out here?” He kisses me softly, sitting in the chair next to me. “Just admiring everything, thinking. How’s your sleep?” I smile. “Okay. I wake up to an empty bed. Where’s Daniel? I slowly get up, wrapping a robe around my body. I brush my teeth and complete my usual morning routine. ‘Hey Babe, sorry about the early leave. The date was amazing. It was beautiful but nothing extravagant. Exactly what I needed. Daniel dropped me home last night after and I slept terrible. Nightmare after nightmare it was time to wake up for work. I drag myself out of bed, changing into my uniform and grabbing my keys.
