We pull up to this beautiful island. There isn’t a boat in sight for miles. The shore is barely visible. ‘Kisses, welcome” Daniel smiles as we step off the boat, onto the sand. I woke up, legs tangled and chest feeling heavy. I look down to see Daniel’s head resting against my chest. We arrive at a small walkway, telling me that this area isn’t very known to the public. “Dan, where are we going?” I question, ducking under a tree branch. “Here, walk next to me” He places his hand on the small of my back, guiding me on where to go. We come across a small tree house, just above a pretty large lake. “Woah, you made this?” I look up at it. “When I was little, my dad bought this property and we built this tree house. I’ve continued to keep it in almost perfect condition. Let’s go up” He smiles a boyish smile. I nod and climb up the ladder, slowing getting up. Once I do, I look around, amazed. It looked a lot smaller down there. “It’s cool right? I come here whenever I’m upset or I need to clear my head. It’s the perfect thinking spot. “Babe, I’m taking you out tonight. Dress nice and be ready by eight” Daniel winks, walking out of the room. “You have to wear the skirt outfit” Kylie gushes. “Obviously. What time is it? I need to start getting ready” I start to get really nervous. “It’s 5:30. You have some time” Kylie tries to calm me. “Kiss, you have nothing to worry about. Calm down hun, you guys have been together for a while” She chuckles, noticing my bouncing leg. “I know, but I’m nervous. I sit down and she gets started on my hair. She curls it into beautiful waves, giving it some volume. I do my makeup, keeping a nude lip and applying my normal routine. Today was our last day in Italy. We went back to the island and out to get gelato. Tomorrow, we’re boarding the jet around noon, since Jim has a business meeting he has to take care of. “So, did you love it?” Daniel snuggles against me, interrupting my thoughts. “I can’t express how much I loved it Dan. Last night Andrew came over and we all had a self care night. We watched movies, did face masks and ate way too many snacks. I told them everything that happened, and explained my text to Cody. It was great. Today, I’m going to the gym to start out the day and then going to work. I needed to pick up a last minute shift today. When I get to the gym, I start out with a mile run and then move onto machines. I concentrate on my legs, needing to build the riding muscles back up. The gym goes fast. ~Daniel’s P.O.V~ “No, no. Stop it. Please” I am woken up to whimpering. “Make it stop. It hurts” Kisses shakes in my arms, tears streaming down her face. “Kisses, hey. Its okay, its me” I hug her, trying to wake her up. “It’s my fault. It’s all my fault” She whispers, her voice cracking. “Hey, wake up. I just finished getting ready to go over Daniel, it’s Jim’s birthday so they are having a party. Daniel is picking me up in a couple of minutes and then we’re going to pick up the food. I am wearing a black lace top with some black jeans. I paired it with some heeled booties and a long, oversized cardigan. My makeup is natural with a wing and my nude lipstick. Daniel texts me so I quickly run outside before he can come get me. “Damn girl, you look gorgeous” He leans over the console, kissing me. “Thank you” I blush, looking at him. He looks good. He is wearing a short-sleeved fitted black button-up shirt with some white dots scattered on it. His black jeans are sitting on his legs, fitting perfectly. He has his white basketball sneakers on, like usual and his sunglasses rest on his nose. His hair is styled to absolute perfection, never a single hair out of place.
