CH49: Deals with the Devil (Damien)
Abby and I were both panting for breath there in the middle of our walk-in closet after intense lovemaking, my heartbeat so loud that it pounded in my ears, I almost missed the signal that Hex was about to show up.
I slammed the door shut quickly, startling Abby, only a second later to hear Hex clear his throat on the other side of the door. Abby groaned and slumped her shoulders before turning to face me, her face full of color that made the corner of my lip twitch into a grin.
“We need to talk to him about boundaries,” she put her finger at the center of my chest, meaning by ‘we’ she meant ‘me’. She hated knowing Hex was able to get inside her head, she said it was a violation of privacy, I only laughed.
