Alpha Jason's POV

I hated the fact that I was made to do certain things for Amber, take care of her, protected her. Wondering why all this would befall me, knowing that I always fell connected to her whenever I'm close to her.

Sometimes I wonder if we're meant to be together, or we're just two birds that are so engrossed in each other that we don't know the right time or the right way to Leave.

I stared into the half moon, glistening and filling my room with it's beauty, knowing that one of these days I would be cuddling her to sleep, only if she allows me.
