"What happened?" Alex asked, still lying on the sofa. "Why did you run in here like that?" he asked again.

Michael took a deep breath before replying, "I just got a call from the hospital. My boss was in an accident and he's currently undergoing surgery at Global Health Hospital."

"What?!" Alex and Charles exclaimed in unison, jumping up from the sofa.

"How bad is it?" Alex asked, his eyes wide with concern.

"I'm not sure," Michael replied, looking worried. "But they said it was serious."

"We need to get to the hospital now, we can call Marcellus' dad on our way," Alex suggested urgently.

Suddenly, Marcellus' secretary, Michael, interjected, "I'll go with you guys. Let me just lock up the office first."
