Larisa's voice trailed off as she spoke about her discovery of the patient's medical condition. She had a pensive look on her face as she continued, "When the patient was transferred this morning, I got a call from the receptionist and I rushed to the emergency room. I saw the other doctors and nurses running tests on the patient."

Ashley leaned forward in her seat, sensing that something was amiss. "And then what happened?" she asked anxiously.

Larisa hesitated for a moment before continuing, her voice barely above a whisper. "As I walked closer to the patient, I realized that it was Marcellus Huxley," she said.

There was a collective gasp from everyone in the room. Larisa's ex-husband, Marcellus, had been out of her life for several years now, and the sudden revelation that he was the patient she had just operated on was a shock to everyone.
