Chapter 14: Morning Revelations

BLAKE'S POV

A gentle groan escaped my lips as I was stirred awake by the radiant morning sunlight filtering through the open blinds in the room. I rubbed my eyes and shifted my gaze towards the alarm clock on the bedside table. A sigh of relief escaped me as I noted that the time was a mere thirty minutes past seven, granting me an additional half-hour to prepare before my first class of the day.
