CHAPTER 57: HEARTBREAK

Myron and Anna walked into the hall where the party was now in full swing under the probing gaze of the crowd and just like all the other guests, their first move was to approach the king to say their greetings. Myron, however, was surprised by what he saw, Anna wasn’t bluffing when she said she could decorate.

Brightly colored drapes lined up the walls of the hall and ran across the edges of the four large chandeliers in the hall, whose light had been changed from warm yellow light to shrilling white lights, the white light from the chandeliers illuminated the hall making it look flashy.

On the right side of the hall was a large table filled with drinks, food, snacks, and all sorts of assortments, while a line of servers stood next to the wine bar, filled the empty wine glasses, and served the thirsty guests.
