15. My day is better now.

Ruby's POV

“Are we early? OMG Zama there is no one here.” I say when I realize that the hall has no one in it. All this dress up for nothing? But this was supposed to be the venue.

“I can see that, bestie, but there must be an explanation to this.” She says, looking around. “Hey maid, come here.” She shouts when one of the Alphas maids walks by.

“Zama, did you have to call her like that?”

“She is a maid, isn’t she?” I rest my case, sometimes I wonder how we became friends, and she is always so insensitive with others. How did we become friends again? I don't remember.

“How may I help you miss?” she asks, bowing a little.

“Where is the party.” Zama asks.

“It’s in the woods, at the lake house.” She says, I didn’t know there was a lake near the Alphas’ house.

“Okay, swoosh.” Zama says shooing her hand at the girl.
