CHAPTER EIGHT.

ATHAN’s POV.

I watch her leave and I can see the longing in her eyes, the fact that she is waiting for me to even stop her but that is one thing I will not do. Tasking with either alphas is the only way of keeping her alive.

My thought is interrupted when I feel the presence of someone behind me and I turn to see Ayita. Ayita is the girl I was with yesterday when Imogen came into my room and she has a sleazy smile on her lips, I hate it.

“Master” she calls out, trying to make her voice as feminine as possible which is much more annoying than anything.

“What do you want?” I ask her while lowering myself on the cane chair, “I don't remember calling for you” I tell her.

“Yes master, you did not call for me” she replies, “I am thinking you will need company after Imogen has left, she caused quite a ruckus these past few days”

My eyes travel around her for a moment and I can’t help but scoff, the nerve of her to even think she is worth my attention and my time, how dare she? It seems I am
