“I don't think your fiancé appears to be who she portrays herself to be,” the male caller chipped in.

David's mind spanned for some time not understanding what the caller meant, he initially didn't mean to pick the call, but his finger mistakenly swiped through the green icon. He waved off whatever was said on the phone, He didn't let that get to him.

Meanwhile, Isabella lay in David's arms, basking in the afterglow of their passionate lovemaking. Her mind drifted to thoughts of their future together, oblivious to the storm that was about to erupt.
