(Anastasia's POV)

The rest of the day went by smoothly. I avoided Caleb for most of the part and stayed in my room. Whenever Caleb becomes intimate with me, I can't help myself but respond with his every sensual touch. Yesterday, we almost did it. I almost gave in for the second time.

And... I'm scared.

Scared of what would come next... scared of the consequences... scared of being too close to him.

I let out a long sigh as my eyes kept wavering on the wall clock hanging on the wall. Time had passed by like a blur. It had gone away too fast. The entire house was silent and I didn't like it at all.

Not one bit.

I know it had been only months of knowing him but I am beginning to like this place. The mansion, Rosalinda, Fernando, Erik, butler Mike... and Him, the fun I never had before.

It was all too much fun and I didn't have the heart to leave it behind. However, what if Caleb finds me bothering? What if we are not on the same page? What if he only has those desires and lust for me?
