Chapter Sixty Two

Saira paid the cab driver when she got to her destination, alighted from the car and shut the door and the car drove off.

"You can do this, Saira. Finish this once and for all, so you can go back to your husband and your son." She told herself and walked up to the black gate, opened it and let herself in.

The house was an uncompleted mansion in progress and Saira guessed it to be three stories because of the height. There were bushes surrounding it like it had been abandoned for quite a while, but she didn't wait to admire it as she trudged through the overgrown weeds,climbed the short steps to the house and went into the house.

"I'm here!" She called out, standing in the hallway. "Let's finish this once and for all."

Not even up to a minute later, she felt the muzzle of a gun at her back and she tensed up.

"Hello bestie." Anne sang near her ear. "Glad you could make it. Ethan is not hiding somewhere, is he?" She cocked the gun.
