Third POV

While Marianne’s tears rolled down her face, she gave a hard and steady gaze at Ezekiel, the smirk dancing clearly on his lips. There was no way she could harbour feelings for this man.

Marianne inches back a little, and she answered his question firmly with no hint of doubt, because she knew that certainly it was the truth. Boredom sliding in his dark lifeless eyes, she faced him with a straight face.

“I think you’re the one delusional here, Ezekiel. There’s no way I could fall in love with you. That personality of yours is really getting ahead of you.”

The dangling hooked smirk lengthen at her words and it got him amused, thinking how short sense she was and his eyes flashed again filling with his overbearing personality, and flimsily he picked her fragile wrist, bringing them to his lips and he pressed a delightful kiss on it, his cold lips lingering long.
