Miranda's Pov

He rushed to me and I almost burst out laughing at his shocked look. He was so scared, I closed my eyes quickly when he was coming closer to me. I couldn't take the pain anymore and I had no option than to fake faint. I got him with that. He should learn never to mess with me.

"Miranda, are you okay, please open your eyes?" He screamed, touching my face as I limped on the floor, making him so scared.

"Please don't do this, I am sorry for giving you this kind of punishment, I promise never to try this again. Just wake up please, Open your eyes" He uttered fearfully, My eyes were still closed, I was still pretending like I was dead.

He carried me from the floor and ran to his car. I could feel the gaze of his workers fixed on the both of us even when my eyes were closed.

Edwin dropped me at the back seat then entered too, placing my head on his Laos. At some point I was enjoying the way he carried me and also placed my head on his Lap making me feel some tingling sensatio
