Miranda's POV

I didn't inform Christabel about my resume, not while she's still angry. She could rain a curse instead of a blessing. From outside our apartment, I called for a cab and soon, it came.

On getting to work, I inhaled heavily, my heart thudding very fast in my body but the adrenaline was far greater. This is a new beginning, a new change should be seen. I stood outside the company, looking at the entire exterior and gaping real loud. I never had the chance to appreciate it before because I was overwhelmed to help out an ungrateful friend of mine.

Stepping into the company, I went straight to Zyra's desk with a big smile. She has proven to be different from my judgment. She's not bad.

“Good morning to you, Zyra,” I greeted, beaming at her.

“Thank God you're here. I have almost become the personal assistant of the day. How do you do it..?” She asked, beaming beautifully back at me.

“Just a little practice here and there.” I informed.
