Forty-two

The drive to Mathews office was so short that Mae whined before coming down from the car,

"I thought we would have more time to revisit all that happened in this car"

Mae said as soon as Mathew got down from his own side of the car,

"What are you even talking about?" Mathew asked,his confusion was clearly written on his face,

"Nothing,come on let's go,"

Mae said, staring at the building.

Mathews company didn't look as big as it was from the outside,

"Wow,so you designed this place yourself!"

Mae said in bewilderment,she didn't even care about the stares she was getting,she was still in her shorts and polo and it did not faze her that people were staring at her that much,all she was bothered about was the fact that somebody in the crowd might be suspicious.

"I am not an architect Mae,I didn't design the building but all the programs and security slash computer details of this place, so every technology you are seeing in here is my handwork,I know it's not much but.."
