He leads me up the stairs to the first floor and through a door leading to the balcony.

“Who are you?”

“You don’t know me.” He says and pulls his mask off. I have never seen him before but who am I kidding? I don’t know the people in Trey’s circle.

“So?”

“Saw what the lady did to you. I know she can be mean. Looked miserable and I wanted to get you out of there. I’m Abel.”

“Thanks a lot. I’m Frankie.”

“What are you doing being a help at Mr. Jones house? You should be somewhere else.”

“Like?”

“Like in my company. I have openings beautiful.”

“Didn’t make it to college.”

“That’s not an issue. I’m sure there is something you can do. Unless you are interested in continuing working here.”

“Nope. I don’t want to be here but some circumstances made me do that.”

“Great.” He digs into his pocket and takes out his wallet. He takes a business card and hands it to me. “call me.”

“Abel holdings?”

“Yap. That’s my company. Trey is my friend.”
