Chapter Thirteen

The next morning, I woke up so early so I decided to jog in the village. Unlike my last visit here, there's a lot of people staying in the park, especially kids. I stayed there for awhile since it was really early and I need to take a rest. While resting in one of the swing, a kid approached me.

"Hi", she greeted. I smiled, she's so cute. I greeted her back.

"You're so handsome", I slightly laughed. I know I am, but hearing those words from kids, no, I can't. I feel embarrassed. I don't get usually get compliments like that, well of course my mom did.

"Thank you for that, now, what do you want? Money or Candies?" When I was a kid, everytime I say compliments to elders, it's either they'll give me money or money.

"Oh, I don't need any of them." Oh! I see. Seems she's different from kids then. Usually, kids tend to choose between the two. Or maybe her parents thought her not to take any from strangers. What a diligent kid she is.
