"Mommy, someone's at the front door!" I heard Nicholai as he and his sister rushed into my office.

I looked at the time since my mind immediately wondered if it was Vincent, but it was nowhere near 8. 

"It's Aunt Alessia and papà!" Anastasia informed me as she and Nic followed me to the door.

The second I opened it, I saw Alessandro and Alessia like my daughter said. "I almost forgot you both were coming over," I stated while stepping aside so they could come in.

Ana and Nic didn't hesitate to hug Alessandro's leg, which earned a startling smile from him, but it soon formed into a happy one as he bent down hugging them back.
