For a second I wondered if I was seeing things, my mind didn't want to believe he was standing at the door as my heart wasn't ready for it.
I gazed into his brown eyes that stared at me with longing. I looked away knowing it was best not to look at him at all since a part of me wanted to bring him into a hug, but my brain quickly reminded me why we broke up in the first place.
I took a deep breath focusing my thought as a way to calm myself as my therapist suggested at our last session.
