Chapter 21 - Gabriel

She really does have a way of explaining things in a way that puts Theo at ease.  In uncomfortable conversations he is usually pacing back and forth agitated and irrational, and her words remind me of the love that my parents had.  “She actually takes my perspective into consideration” Theo tells me, and I can tell that this brings him joy.  He has a point, I doubt any other human would understand the dynamic between a wolf and their human. 

“I mean, she did call me handsome that day on the highway when we ran out in front of her car” he brags. 

“She hasn’t called you handsome, so I’m obviously her favorite” he chides.  I chuckle at this.  She cocks her head to the side eyebrows furrowed so I tell her what he said.
