Chapter 17

He again rubbed those words on my face from which I was trying hard to run.

The gravity of his words was making my chest heavy with every passing second. For the past year, I tried my best and prayed to the one who is listening to never give rise to this day in my life but I failed.

I worked hard to keep him away from me but with the snap of his finger, he brought me back on the same page from where we both started.

Suddenly my chest became tight, making breathing hard for me. Lifting my shaking hands I rang the bell and dad didn't waste a single second to open the door with a big happy smile on his face he said "My kitten is back. I missed you so much" with a bright smile hugging me tightly.
