"What is Jack hiding from me?"
My heartbeat was so fast as those words repeated in my head. I heard their footsteps coming toward the door. I walked away from there with fast steps and a wildly beating heart. I didn't know why I walked away from there like I was a thief instead of confronting them in their face about what they were hiding from me. But somehow I don't find the courage to do that.
