Darren's POV.

My body ached like crazy, I woke up with a start, my eyes scanning the room while I laid down.

I tried standing up, but I felt someone on me. I turned around and a smile formed on my face when I saw Leila.

She must have fallen asleep while staying with me.

My hands automatically wrapped her in a hug and she returned it while yawning loudly. “You're awake." She stood up immediately.

Her smile made me laugh, her face lit up,"I was so worried." She gasped, sighing in relief.

"You scared me." She added with a long sigh.

"Are you okay?" Her hand found mine as she gave them a comforting squeeze.

"I'm fine." I responded truthfully.

I could remember the accident and how tired I got, I shook it off when I saw her worried expression.

"What happened?" She asked.

"I was so upset, and I kept driving, and well." I scratched my head telling her everything.

She nodded her eyes, never leaving me, "Please if you're upset, don't do that again."

"Except you want me dead, I can't stand the
