Leila's POV.

"I'm sorry." I muttered immediately hoping whoever I bumped into wouldn't get upset with me.

"Nah it's okay." The man replied with a smile.

My eyes narrowed suspiciously wondering why he was acting all nice.

I looked around trying to confirm if it was one of the Alpha's tricks, but it wasn't, I couldn't see the Alpha close.

I still gaped at the man, surprised that the alpha's soldier was nice to me.

"You're Leila right?" He asked.

"Yes." I replied.

"You're more beautiful up close." He winked at me and I blushed.

"Well I've gotta go now so bye." He turned walking off.

I watched his retreating back and I mused at how weird that conversation was, I didn't know his name, yet he knew mine.

And I had to admit it felt really good being admired by him.

I wasn't admired easily and the one who ever did it made me feel terrible after.

This guy however was different though, I liked his confidence, I wanted to be like that too.
