Chapter Two:
....Dear Lucinda will be participating. The ritual cleans younger werewolves and help those who haven't experienced what it feels to lycanthrope, to do so easily, without much pains.
Furthermore, we will like Lucinda to partake in the family's moon night, coming up on December". He finished.
Mr. Gabriel, a man of few words, wishpherd something to his wife, after the dialogue, they arrived at a verdict which corresponds to the request of the elders. The family have barely a day to gather some items they will be needing in their hometown. They have agreed to travel with Lucinda, since the stay will be a long one.
The journey from Rome to Guidecca was a long one indeed, it was a journey of 3 hours and 15 minutes.
Thank God for a safe trip!
Finally, the Travellers arrived their destination. The atmosphere was welcoming, the breath was nice and old, the environment was in a rapid development. A lot had changed. The family of Mr. and Mrs. Gabriel took a sigh of relief. Their deserted bungalow house now feel lively again, but there was a huge lot of work to do. There would be arranging, cobwebbing, sweeping, weeding, moping, washing, and the likes. All hands went on deck, hoping to bring back the house to the order and neatness it was left. During the sanitation, Lucinda had a strange encounter, it was like a trance, or perhaps, a seeing. She was able to see the flashback of event that happened in the past, with just merely touching object that related to the event.
What had she seen?
Lucinda in the trance, saw a woman who she recognized as her grandma, Ma'am Beanker, but was a younger her. Her grandmom in the trance took some features of a wolf _long and sharp and claws, facial hairs which made the individual look more like what could be referred to as a 'human- wolf', this must be what a werewolf would look like, thought Lucinda. Immediately, Beanker transformed into a complete wolf alongside another older lady, there.
The supposed Lucinda's grandma in the trance waged a fight against the fellow female, who the pack of female werewolves that stood behind her proved her to be a female Alpha. The duo fought like eternity, with Beanker falling now and then, and sustaining injuries from claws and falls. Just like a fallacy coming into reality, Beanker was now on the Alpha, trying so much to separate the alpha's head from neck. After some moment of struggle, the deed was done.
Later, Beanker, who had won the game of deaths, walked majestically to the pack, giving them an intimidating looks which made the pack reverenced her. She's now the new Alpha.
For almost a minute, Lucinda was short of breath, she didn't and wouldn't want to believe what she had just seen. Infact, the ability to have seen such was to her impossible.
Was that what it takes to be an alpha?
If yes, then Lucinda was better off remaining an Omega, till her extinction.
She had earlier learnt from a document in a box, that she was an Omega. And had known that she as Omega was the least of the pack, the document had taught her.
Lucinda will appreciate more the work of an Omega and the maltreatment from the wicked Betas or Alpha, rather than killing a fellow for a position which is temporal, she concluded speech to herself and waved off her memory the thousands of thoughts arising from the trance, and went ahead with her chores.
Soon, the works were justified, the house came back to its hygiene in
serenity. The women in the house went to the kitchen to prepare dinner, Mr. Gabriel sat on a too soft cushion in the sitting room, flipping through the pages of a magazine, while Alexander kept himself busy with a soccer computer game. Dinner was served later, around 6pm. When the family has assembled for dinner, a knock was heard, accompanied by the sound of the door bell. Mr. Gabriel got angry for such a nuisance for a behavior done by who the hell might be knocking. When his temper had cooled, he made a gesture of hand, demanding Alexander to answer the bell. Alex came back to the no curtain dinning room with an envelope glued with a wolf head sticker. The sticker had made known where the envelope must have come from. Lucinda opened the envelope, brought out a letter contained in it, and read to the hearings of all, as was ordered by her father. The letter was brief and to the point. It stated clearly that Lucinda was needed in the werewolf pack house, late tomorrow morning, by 10am, for the pack youths' training and get along, ending with " A Nice Night Rest To You, Little Wolverine". That was specific, it addressed only Lucinda.
The family ate dinner in a new quietened atmosphere, all ate while wallowing in their thoughts. The night was spent with less dialogues, honestly, it would have been a different scenario, if matters like this have been surfacing before, but no, it was it's first time.
Morning came with a cool breeze from the shade giving trees and flowers. The sun was pure gold and friendly, not scorching. The powerful perfume scents from the ornaments (flowers), filled the environment. The chirpings of the little fearless birds transcends into the soul of every listener. The atmosphere baffled the morning. This is rare. If life is a fairy tales, this atmosphere would actually be the best suitable for the birth of a lion Cub who is actually a promising king; Well, even in reality, One never can tell if royal Cub had been birthed to.
Truly, the atmosphere was very dear to behold.
Before 9am, things have been putted in order, in the family of Mr. and Mrs. Gabriel. Breakfast have been served and eaten, all had taken bath, and the house have been placed in right order. The day is now ready to be spent in lavish.
Mr. Gabriel has crawled into a roofless tent, made for him by his wife. The tent was made of white curtains that hung on fences composed of steel poles connected in a square shape, leaving the curtains to flow in the direction of the cool breeze. Mr. Gabriel sat in the center on a wooden chair, he had intentionally hidden himself in this sudden tent, only his feet could be seen. He hid himself in there, so that he will not see her daughter Lucinda, while going to the werewolf pack house, lest he become emotional. Lucinda left for the journey of five miles after bidding a bye to all, except her dad.
When Lucinda arrived the pack house, her eyes caught up with a red eyed wolf, a creature she had never seen in her life. Lucinda's first sight on the animal nearly drenched life off her body. She remained fixed to the ground, until Martin, a twenty- five years old, a werewolf and a worker in the animal farm, came and took the beast for a walk, it was actually Martin's pet. Martin greeted morning to Lucinda with a smile, maintaining the distance. Lucinda saw a man from a distance waving at her, he was calling Lucinda to the pack house. Lucinda humbly followed the man's gestures. They went into a two decks building, there was a parallel arrangement of rooms / blocks on both sides leaving a.......
Chapter Three:.....Narrow space in between. Down the aisle was a stairs leading to the second floor of the building, which they followed. It was a hall suitable for a conference. There was a set of fewer seats at the end, facing an enough number of seats. Few of the seats have been occupied by some members of the pack. Sooner, the hall was filled with people of different complexions, but the fair skinned encompassed. The meeting started with exchange of warm greetings. New pack members were called upon, and it happened to be Lucinda, only. She was welcomed. Next, was division of the pack into their different groups or likes, in over twenty werewolves present, the Omegas happened to be only two _Lucinda and Ruth, a fourthy years old cleaner that works in the wolf's community library, she was known for her lukewarmness. Two Alphas _Jack, a mean young man in his his thirty years, seductively muscular and wore simple facial hairs, and Chloé, a dark skinned lady in her twenty - thr
Chapter Four:.....About Omegas, except Chloé, who rather, grew more hatred for Lucinda. She vowed to send Lucinda to extinction, since she (Lucinda), wants to prove herself better than the Betas, even to an Alpha like her. That was a terrible decision she had made!Chloé began cooking out deadly plans to eliminate Lucinda from the pack, and her life, forever. Time passed by, it was now in the early days of December, in year 2000. A lot had happened, a lot had changed and Chloé's flaming hatred for Lucinda had also changed; It had actually gotten worse, leaving in Chloé's bone marrow the bitter taste of sighting Lucinda, especially, when Lucinda happened to be with Jack. The discriminations, hatred and other inhumane acts displayed by Chloé against Lucinda, was hell itself. It's now certain to Lucinda that Chloé has a passionate hatred against her, reason for so much a dislike, still remains a mystery to Lucinda. As Chloé spent time craving for unnecessary hatred again
After Chloe's burial, jack spoke to Lucinda with hopes of her going to the awakening chamber to see of her inner wolf had any special powers, so he could train her into a very powerful omega, so that she'd be able to protect herself next time. Lucinda had no other option but to head to the awakening hall........ Lucinda stood nervously in the middle of the Awakening Chamber with her eyes darting all over the room, after all, she was not aware of such. Without a parent accompanying her in this strange and exciting environment, how could her mind be serene? Right at that moment, a gentle white light shone from the Spirit Master’s hands and attracted her attention. That white light, could it be the fabled soul power that only Alpha's possess? While under her astonished gaze, the Alpha raised his right arm slightly. The white light vibrated before flying off towards the sky and blossoming into fireworks that illuminated the Awakening Chamber with its splendor. Starting from the
Even as he exited the gates of Red Mountain Academy, Lucinda was flummoxed. Like every year, those who awakened soul power along with their Wolf soul were invited to join the Soul Master class of Red Mountain Academy as new students. No matter which elementary academy it was, the Soul Master class was undoubtedly the most important. Lucinda's previous agitation hadn’t completely dissipated; her head felt swollen, and her body was heating up. She dizzily continued walking. “Girl, you really are one in a million!” Jack's gentle voice awakened Lucinda from her dazed state. Lucinda raised her head and faced Jack's gentle and loving expression. “Jack, is Bluesilver Grass a trash Wolf soul?” Jack solemnly replied, “How could it be a trash martial soul? You need to know only one in a thousand people have soul power! You have both a trash martial soul and soul power, doesn’t that mean you’re one in a million? Therefore, my dear your are unique and by definition unmatched. Haven’t I told y
After Lucinda and jack had eaten their fill they bother left, they decided to go to to their respective destinations. Lucinda headed home to her parents Mr and Mrs Gabriel, when she got home she was greeted by the sight of her younger brother still sleeping cosyly in her room, seems he had taken it to heart and never planned even leaving in the first place.. Huh! Arghh!! Lucinda uttered a growl as soon as she saw him in her room. "Will you get your ass off my bed, how many times do I need to tell you to sleep in your goddamn room, get off; Lucinda yelled at Alex while she grabbed him and flung him on the ground with rage". Hmm! owww! Alex screamed as soon as his body hit the floor, he was shocked, he never expected that she'd be back today and without a doubt the first thing she did was to hurl him on the floor and beat the hell out off him. This was very unusual for him cause she's never shown this much amount of anger towards him before....Sis I'm sorry please Alex screamed
Darkness crept in slowly as Lucinda had decided not to leave her room till she was able to deal with the variety of problems she had, for starters her eyes were still red and she was getting irritated with everything. ... Unbeknown to her, the incident that took place earlier in the day had affected her mother, she was looking stressed and confused. ' Should I tell her, maybe she isn't even like that, but if she is doesn't that mean.....; Lucinda's mum deliberated within herself. She was torn between these two options, it was either she let her daughter know about her past or she just let everything as it is. Maybe what's happening to Lucinda is different; she thought. "Mum! Will Big Sis be alright" Daniel walked in and interrupted her train of thoughts. I think i'll hold for a bit i don't intend to let her know of my secret. Lucinda's mum had successful made her decision within the split second Alexander called out to her, although she didn't answer him immediately. She lo
Sir I don't like this place, this place is below our standards. You have to get rid the intruders if you ever want to leave this location, with your sufficient experience it won't be a problem right! This was discussion between jake and his subordinate at one part of the capital. The blood fiend sect... Meanwhile Lucinda who received the order the day before was just arriving at the departure point, she had on a pair of tight jean trousers which showedof her beautiful curves, a scarf was around her neck, and a red leather jacket which she wore. She looked battle ready, but in truth she didn't even know why she had worn these, the idea of the glasses was to hide the colour of her eyes, she didn't think she'll be able to explain to the group how they just came up. "Great" Jake exclaimed. "Lucinda's here, we can set off now" And so the team set off on their journey into the woods to catch the intruders that were camping at the outskirts of the town. Lucinda!!! Jake called. "I
Sara breathed roughly as she arrived at the gates of the capital. Now that the battle was over she was overwhelmed by the tiredness of her body. Even if she decreased the amount of "Aura" as she got used to killing the vampires she still had almost none left. She constantly had her aura wraped around her legs to boost her speed and agility and still used a bit of the one in her arms to activate the perforating ability of her claws. She sat on the bloody ground to rest a bit and allow her body to regain her lost strength. "You did a good job for your first time." Lane arrived from behind her, smiling and carrying a plate of delicacies in his hand. "So now you know why I told you that it was too dangerous?" Sara nodded and answered shortly. "If I had waited till when I had grasped about 10 percent of my bloodline powers I would have been able to take em' all on with ease". Lane nodded. Sara reviewed the battle she just had in hes mind as she was waiting for her body to recove
