Chapter Three

DAWN.

"Dawn! What the hell happened to you?! I was very worried! "

My aunt says immediately her eyes lands on me and I shake my head, not having the strength to mutter as much as a word.

"Are you okay?"

She asked calmly this time, in a much softer tone.

Am I okay? I'm not.

I raise my gaze to meet here, giving her a small forced smile before nodding.

"Dawn, I, "

The thunder roars above is, startling her and as if she just realized I'm still standing before her, out of the house; she grabs my wrist and pull me inside, closing the door behind her before turning back to me.

"Talk to me, Dawn. You're making me really worried about you. I thought you would be in after work but then I waited till I was actually getting worried. I get that you're graduated now and you can make decisions on your own without me having to treat you like a puppy, "

That's actually far from what's going on, Aunt.

"But still, I'm your aunt and it's my duty to be worried about you. If you're going to stay out late or something, just let me know first so I wouldn't get worried. "

Her voice raises slightly towards the end and I nod before bowing a little as an attempt to apologize.

I don't want to stay here, I just want to go inside that room and finally release the frustration that I've been feeling. I feel like I'm going to explode any moment from now, it's getting so fucking hard to hold everything back in.

"Go to your room and dry yourself up first. I microwaved your dinner then we can talk about what happened. "

I don't have an appetite and I most definitely don't want to talk about it. I need to forget. Every. Single. Thing.

I nod again before retreating and taking the stairs that leads to my room.

Opening the door and locking with behind me, I'm met with complete and utter darkness which I can't be any more grateful for.

I make my way to the bathroom through the darkness before slipping out of the wet clothes. I step under the shower, turning it cold and hoping it will relieve the pains.

It doesn't.

It hurts.

A lot.

And nothing can ever change that.

I’m feeling so sad for both of them but it was an accident. Oliver needs to disappear already. I despise that so called of a man!
