It has been more than a month since Kyara last met Nathan. Everyday he calls the matron and finds out about the wellness of mother and the baby but never once would he talk to Kyara.

Kyara did not know Nathan would discharge his animosity so well that he would make her suffer to bits and pieces.

By the time she was discharged from the hospital Margaret was no longer seen and a new matron was in her place. The Johnsons had retrenched her from the job because Kyara's pregnancy was at a risk. Obviously they wouldn't take chances regarding their only heir growing in Kyara's womb.

Nathan had driven her home and told the matron to look after her needs with patience and care. The day was the last time since she saw him. Tomorrow is her doctor's appointment.
