Chapter 96 Clara in the void

CLARA'S POV

I had passed out yet again and this time, I wanted nothing but to remain in the dark space of emptiness where I would have full access to Derrick. The last thing I recalled was the sound of his voice in my head and that had been it.

I was probably going to die but at the very least, I would die knowing he still cared about me. It was however saddening that I would be unable to clear my father's name just yet and he would probably be disappointed at me.

Well, I have not seen him in many long years. He should at the very least be pleased to see me, right?

I do not know for how long but I was still there in the dark.

I opened my eyes to the other world and I could see how it was. So serene yet so void. I was looking around for who called me but I could not see whom. In my haze, I was certain I knew that voice but it was not clear to me who it was.
