KIARA'S POV.

"Even if you are the husband of a goddess, I'd snatch you away from her," I replied to Mateo, giggling. I am pretty sure that I wasn't attracted to him this way the previous time. I had read on the internet that a patient with amnesia could forget their memories but not their emotions. It feels weird, but slowly I recall meeting a man with a club. It just flashed through and out of my mind.

"We shall leave the city," Mateo said again. He seems to be taking the guy we saw earlier seriously. The guy Mila called Jim I turned suddenly to face him for an explanation. He wasn't scared. All I could see in his green eyes was care.

"Are you doing this for me?" I asked, holding his palm, with my eyes almost tearing up.

"No! and don't ever think I can't make a decision for myself. You once said I was selfish, right? "This is me being selfish with what's mine." His deep, sexy voice echoed through my ears like a love letter.
