KIARA'S POV

I stepped to the garden. I have been calling Mila since I could remember but its just as if network service is not meant for that house. I could remember visiting her only once since I left.

She told me they she had reported me missing to the police but she was certainly sure that the man that abducted him was not different from the one that abducted me. She sure shed a little tears blaming me all she could that I never attempted to call her and explain that I am still alive.

Getting away from Mateo wasn't the main reason why I desperately want to leave the house, besides I have learnt that he isn't as heartless as I imagined. He just is tough to handle. I wanted to visit my grandma more often. He doesn't allow me to. But anytime I see her, her health seems to be so stable. Not improving not detoriating.

But today we actually need to be together. It's my parents death aniversary. Obviously I will have to sneak out of the house. There is no way Mateo would find out.
