Kiara's pov

Hatred churned and rolled inside my heart as I sat in the shabby coach with my little boy in my arms. He had a lost look in his eyes, as if he just woke up from a nap.

I felt so much hatred that it consumed me every waking moment and most of my sleeping moments as well. My nightmares have been filled with dreams in which I took my revenge on the man who made me go through all this shit. Every day I watch as all the dreams I have set for myself crumble before my eyes, one after the other. If there was something I wanted desperately, it would be to turn the hands of the clock back to the day my grandmother suddenly collapsed. That very day marked the beginning of my mystery.

If I had insisted and stood by my decision to attend that party at the biviclub that very night, maybe my life would have been better.
