The drive back to Kaiden’s house was quiet but not the awkward quiet. I sat there listening to the music playing on the radio whilst Kaiden had his hand on my leg and mine on top of his as he held my fingers. All this was so natural with us. Like no awkwardness. That’s what I love about Kaide is that he’s all the same with me.

We got back to the house and Kaiden opened my door for me and we walked hand in hand into the house. I turned to him with a pout “Kade, I’m starving”. The last I actually ate was supper and now it’s probably 4 in the morning and I’m literally starving.

He chuckled as he took my hand and we walked into the kitchen. Kaiden pick me up and placed me gently on the counter as he rummage through the fridge and pulled out the left overs from the food his mother made for us he heated it and poured us a glass of wine as we sat there talking whilst eating and sipping on the wine.
