45. Lies Exposed

David looked flatly at his two subordinates, Don and Jackson, standing before him. The two men were tense when David summoned them suddenly to their main office. They glanced at each other while David just sat quietly in his chair. Heavy breathing could be heard from him. David slowly stood up from his chair and walked forward to Don and Jackson.

"You guys are probably trying to cover up what you did years ago, and you think that I wouldn't know about it."

"I already know that Adele is dead, and her skull was found in the lake."
