Liam's face slightly lit up when he saw Carmen coming out of the restaurant. But when she stared at him, and he saw the hostility in her gaze, the bit of sparkle in his eyes faded.
“Carmen, let's talk please!” Liam called out when he saw her walking towards her car.
However, Carmen didn't stop. Instead, she increased her speed, causing Liam to chase after her.
Carmen reached her vehicle, and as she was about to open the door, Liam gently grabbed her wrist and turned her towards him.
