Jenna POV

“Give us the journal,” I say coldly to my father. To hold back such relevant information was wrong regardless of how far fetched it sounded. “Why, so you can look for a loophole that will save you? Jenna, the answer is right in front of your face,” my father sneers at me. I am taken aback at his attitude toward me. I have never seen this side of my father and it is starting to scare me.

“Alpha Gordon, we need the journal,” Adam reiterates supporting my effort. I was not questioning him. I simply want to read everything that is related to this. “Give them the book, Gordon,” my mother says softly. I am confused as to why she sounds almost saddened by the sharing of the information. My mother looks at me with sincerity in her eyes, “We did what we felt was best for you all these years Jenna,” she murmurs to me.
