Esme's POV

I've been looking forward to my training with Ethan the entire day. It's already mid afternoon and he's yet to show. Maybe he's really busy today, he definitely couldn't have forgotten.

"Rather than bothering your brain by wondering about the possibilities you know you can just go see him and ask, right?" Solar commented and I smiled.

"You finally came around. Why'd you leave me hanging like that? Besides Ethan and Rachel you know you're the only one I have. You're part of me, both my family and companion so I always expect you to stand by me." I blurted, I couldn't help myself.

"I'm sorry. I was really scared we were going to lose our life during the whole incident, I was more scared of never getting to see Ren again. You died Esme and I was disconnected from you when you did. Though Selene restored me back with you when you woke up, it wasn't easy to cope.
