“Are you okay Zac ?” I ask him as we walk into the doctor's office. I have noticed him tensing up more and more on the way here and growing unusually quiet.

He squeezes my hand softly. “It’s just ... what if … what if there is no more jelly bean ? I mean I know the doctor said it mostly works out fine ... but ...”.
