Edna's eyes were stuck on the screen of her iPhone, thumb hovering over Adriano's contact.
She chewed her nails in anticipation, tapping her index finger on the side of the sleek phone she sighed, before stuffing it back in her pocket.
" Ma'am. We should leave. It's about time." Peter spoke from a few distance away from her making her jump in air, startled.
" God! Peter! Make some noise next time." She exclaimed putting a hand on her chest, calming her frenzy heartbeat.
" My apologies." Peter bowed his head before taking firm steps and opening the door of the passenger seat.
