Tamara took the statement and scanned through it. Her eyebrows knitted at the content.

“The employee said they were bribed into letting the man in, but they refused to give us the name of the person who bribed them,” explained the guard.

Sebastian’s face fell. “Have you checked their bank account for any transactions?”

“We did, but we found nothing suspicious. They must have taken the bribery in cash,” said the guard.
