Chapter 27 Her Intentions

Sebastian’s countenance hardened so much that it made Tamara’s blood rush with anxiety. She hurriedly got to typing: “The scented tea was a gift from my friend… Is there a problem with it?”

“Friend…?” Sebastian wondered. A frown marred his face as his pitch-black eyes stared Tamara down. After making sure there weren’t any abnormal reactions from her, he promptly left her room.

Only then did she let out the faintest sigh of relief.

“Gosh, he looked so serious earlier… It was scary,” Tamara mused. Her attention instinctively landed on the suitcase in her room as she declared in her heart, “I can’t reveal that part of my identity. Not yet.”

She then got ready for the day, had her breakfast, and lounged on the couch to watch some television.

“Good day, Mrs. Lynch and Miss Xanthos.” Ms. Thompson’s voice echoed from the main door just then.
