Chapter 38 It Was Him

Tamara held a hand over her abdomen as she got out of the cupboard. Her expression was tense and serious.

“Could there be something wrong with my baby?” she thought.

After she regained her footing, the slight pain in her abdomen suddenly vanished.

The pain she had felt resembled needle pricks.

“What on earth was that?” she wondered.

She lowered her head to observe her own abdomen. Could it have been her imagination?

She touched her belly, pressing against it to find it slightly hardened. It was proof that a new life was growing inside of her.

She stood around and waited for a few minutes. When the pain did not resurface, she unfurrowed her brows.

Tamara deduced that the pain might’ve been stress-induced.

She redirected her gaze back to the drawer from before. Sebastian had tucked the bag back into it before he left.

She carefully poked her head out of the walk-in closet to check. Once she was sure that no one was around, she hurried back into the closet and pulled the drawer
