Tamara stopped. Ms. Thompson, on the other hand, was smiling from ear to ear. “Young Mrs. Lynch, Old Mr. Lynch is just expressing his concern for you.”

Tamara felt her heart warm. She immediately shook her head in denial.

She still remembered back when she first met Old Mr. Lynch. He had given her a stern look and was disappointed that she was mute.

But he had changed his opinion of her.

Old Mr. Lynch doubted Tamara’s denial. “I’m well aware of how Seb is as a person. You are pregnant with his child. Let me know if he ever mistreats you, and I will deal with him personally.”

Tamara couldn’t believe her ears. She never thought the day would come when she would hear such heartwarming words from the emotionless Old Mr. Lynch.

“Alright. You must be tired from your trip. Take some rest now. We’ll talk when Seb gets home.” Old Mr. Lynch noticed Tamara’s shock and returned to his usual calmness.

Tamara immediately nodded and wrote, “Thank you, Grandpa.”

Then, she went upstairs.
