Chapter 62

Olivia turned her eyes back to Asher, Asher’s met her gaze with an unreadable expression, Olivia glared at him and they faced themselves ready to take their vows.

The officiate, unaware of the turmoil beneath the surface, began the ceremony. "Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to witness the union of Olivia and Asher in holy matrimony."

As the officiate spoke, Olivia's mind raced, she lowered her gaze from that of Asher’s icy one. The guests watched with bated breath, awaiting the exchange of vows.

The officiate turned to Asher, prompting him to begin. His gaze never wavered from Olivia's, as he pictured her to be Jane, and his voice carried a hint of remorse as he spoke his vows. "Olivia, from the moment I met you, I knew my life was about to change.”

Olivia glanced up at him, and she pressed her lips together, every words from his lips were lies, she felt like this were all lies.

“You brought a light into my world that I never knew I needed.” Asher continued but Olivia scoff
