Chapter 52

"I can't wait to finally own this hotel," Ryan exclaimed to Andrew with a gleam of anticipation in his eyes. They stood in the grand lobby, the opulent surroundings only fueling Ryan's desire for ownership.

"You still obsessed with this hotel?" Andrew questioned, his skepticism evident in his voice.

"It's not an obsession, Andrew," Ryan replied defensively, his tone tinged with frustration.

"Then what is it? Love? Passion?" Andrew prodded, genuinely curious about his friend's infatuation.

"It's business," Ryan stated firmly, his eyes narrowing with determination. "I don't trust my dad, and he still holds all the power at Haven Cosmetics. He can kick me out anytime I go against him. This hotel, however, is completely independent from his grasp. If - or when - I gain full rights and ownership, I won't have him bossing me around anymore. That old man needs to finally take a step back."

"Oh, I see. You want something that's solely yours."

"Exactly," Ryan confirmed, a hint of a smile
