Dre took deep, calming breaths as the veins around his eyes retracted, and his eye colour went back to its normal brown, almost black colour.

"Ok, what the hell just happened," I asked, still a bit shaken by what just took place.

I've seen Dre grumpy pissed moody, annoyed and most times angry; however, I've never seen him this furious before.

"Its cool man, sorry I flipped," Dre told Jace.

"Uhm, excuse me," he said, getting up from his chair and then teleporting from the dining room table before I could get a word out.

"I'm confused," Freya said.

"Its a long story one that Andreas would have to tell," Jace said to her, pushing a strand of hair behind her ear.

Clearing his throat, dad said, "That's all I needed to talk to you about. Sam, I'd like a word with you in my office." he then got up from the table, kissed my forehead, and walked out.
